A Word From Our Pastor

Dear Members and Friends:

It takes more than just a building to make a church. It takes people who have fellowship with one another and, more importantly, with God. Hitherto hath the Lord helped us! He has carried us over the threshold into another phase of our journey. The words of Charles Wesley capture the sentiments of my heart: “O for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise! The glories of my God and King, the triumph of His Grace!

Our hearts should be filled with gratitude and our speech overflowing with praise for our faithful and loving Lord.

We here at Ajax Seventh-day Adventist Community Church are launching out in faith moving forward believing that our church is going to achieve a new experience in stewardship and spiritual growth, we believe Ajax Church is on the threshold of a new phase in our walk with the Lord and in our ministry to the community. We are beginning an exciting journey; a journey with a fresh vision, a journey of increased faith, a journey of discovering God’s blessing as we give sacrificially, and a journey of receiving the out-pouring of God’s blessing.

Our recent experience of finding a new rental facility and land to build teaches us to declare with the prophet Jeremiah, “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you….’I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?’” (Jerimiah 32:17NIV). Our top priority moving forward is for people to have their spiritual needs met, have adequate facilities which allow us to grow, expand our ministries and meet the needs in our congregation, our community and our missionary endeavors. As we begin an intensive stewardship program in our church, I want you to know that I am glad to be the pastor of our great church.

When I think about God’s goodness to us in the past, I am filled with gratitude. When I think about what God wants to do for us and through us in the future, I am filled with anticipation and excitement. I am grateful that we are entering a program that will open new doors of opportunity for our church. With the success of this program, our church can develop new ministries and be more effective in reaching the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This endeavor provides all of us with a wonderful opportunity to know in a fresh way the blessings that come through giving. Jesus said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over” (Luke 6:38)

I earnestly believe that we the people of Ajax Seventh-day Adventist Community Church, are ready for the challenge this program offers. Let us each enter into this great effort prayerfully and enthusiastically.

Yours in His Service,

Pastor Bulgin
